Privacy policy

Effective 3 October 2026. The Voice Party is provided by 2002 Studio. Questions or requests: hello@thevoiceparty.com. This policy covers the game, its private online rooms, and this website. It is written in plain language; if something here is unclear, email us.

The short version

Information the game uses

Why we use it and who receives it

We use microphone audio so players can perform, compare, score and replay short takes. We use anonymous stats and crash reports to find bugs and improve the game. We use ads to fund the game. Our service providers are Unity (multiplayer, authentication, remote config, LevelPlay), Google (Play Billing, Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics) and the ad partners above. They process data under their own privacy terms.

Retention, security and your choices

Children

Content suitability depends on the selected pack and the published age rating. Players under 16, or players who have not told us their age, are treated as children: no analytics, crash upload, ads, cloud save or games sign-in. The default Family content filter also keeps ads off. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Website and launch updates

The website does not request your microphone or camera. Essential browser storage remembers your website analytics preference. Optional Google Analytics 4, when configured, loads only after you accept analytics. It measures page visits and selected interactions such as trailer playback, download clicks and launch-form completion. With your consent, non-personal campaign labels are kept in session storage for up to 30 minutes and attached to Google Play download links to help measure which placements lead to visits and store clicks. Rejecting analytics clears those saved labels and uses the plain store link. Google may process online identifiers and technical/device information; we do not send your email address, voice, or game room codes to website analytics. Reject analytics or change your choice using Cookie preferences in the footer. Acceptance may set Google Analytics cookies, normally lasting up to two years.

If you join launch updates, we store your email address and consent date on our hosting account to send test and release news. Subscription data is kept outside the public website files. Contact hello@thevoiceparty.com from the subscribed address to unsubscribe or request deletion. The hosting server also handles standard connection information needed to serve the site and protect the subscription form from abuse.

Website analytics uses the Google Analytics service. See Google’s privacy policy for its processing details. Your website choice is separate from the game’s optional analytics settings.
