The game-night notebook
The Free Five-Sound Game Night Challenge
Everyone hears the same prompt. Everyone brings a different impression. The free five-sound challenge pack on our itch page gives your group a common starting point.
What you need
- The Voice Party on Windows or Android, a microphone, and a quiet place to record.
- 2–4 people in the same room for local pass-the-device play, or one player for solo practice.
- The free five-sound challenge download from our official itch page. Follow the pack’s included instructions to add it to My Packs.
Start with a mic check
Listen to one sound, record a short take, and replay it before beginning. If the game cannot hear you, check microphone permission and your selected input. Keep speaker volume comfortable so the original sound does not drown out your voice. See microphone help if needed.
Give everyone one turn
- Play the original short sound and listen to its beginning, rhythm and ending.
- Start a take and copy the sound with your voice at a comfortable volume.
- Look at the score out of 100 and the rhythm, energy, melody and completeness feedback.
- Pass the device to the next player. Keep the same sound and microphone setup for each person.
- Move to the next prompt after everyone has had a turn. Play all five sounds, or stop whenever the room wants a break.

Compare performances, not just numbers
If you want a house rule, write down each player’s five scores and add them at the end. That is a game-night idea rather than a separate in-game tournament feature. Let the table also pick its funniest take. You can pass on a sound, laugh at an imperfect impression, and keep the night friendly.
Make your own pack
My Packs accepts your own short clips. Use recordings you own or have permission to use. Ask before recording or sharing another player’s voice. The supplied challenge pack offers an easy common starting point without searching for clips.
